UBC Press

UBC Press, the publishers of Finding Dahshaa, is the publications branch of the University of British Columbia. It was established in 1971 and is among the largest university presses in Canada with more than forty new books annually and a backlist of 700 titles.

UBC Press is widely acknowledged as one of the foremost publishers of political science, Native studies, and forestry books. Other areas of particular strength are Asian studies, Canadian history, environmental studies, planning, and urban studies.
